If you operate a corporation, you need a Minute Book. Canadian laws create a legal obligation to keep records. The Canada Business Corporations Act requires that such records are kept. When it comes time to open a a bank account for your corporation, banks and financial institutions will most likely ask you for the minute book of the corporation.
