I want to copyright my artwork. Do I need to send it to you?

It is not necessary. The Canadian Intellectual Property Office does not require that originals or even copies of your work be submitted to complete the registration of a Copyright. As you are copyrighting the title of your work, we only require this, and any relevant owner information. As such, in addition to registering your Copyright we also recommend sending a copy of your work to yourself via registered mail to substantiate the date of creation in conjunction with the physical work itself, should the need ever arise.
