We have a question from a client:

If my corporation is registered in a particular province, does that mean I can only sell my products within that province?

Not necessarily. Unless special circumstances apply, a for-profit corporation registered in any province in Canada may sell and ship its products to clients in different provinces, even different countries. If you plan to move your physical location of business (from which you sell goods) to a province other than the one you are currently registered in, you will then in most cases be required to register a distinct business, corporation, or extra-provincial registration with the applicable government.
